Steps to Becoming a Real Estate Agent in Indiana

In 2014, Indiana decided to raise the bar for Real Estate Practitioners by becoming a single license state. This means there is no longer a two tiered system of Real Estate Agent licenses and Real Estate Broker licenses. All practitioners must obtain a Brokers license.

Candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a High School Diploma or GED Diploma
  • Complete and pass an approved 90 hour Indiana Brokers Pre-Licensing Course
  • Pass the Indiana Brokers Examination
  • Select a Managing Broker to work for.  Licensees may own their own company after 2 years of expereince, and completion of a 24 hour Managing Broker Course
  • Complete an application and pay a licensing fee to the State of Indiana.

The first step to your new career begins with the 90 Hour Pre-Licensing Course. We have several courses scheduled for 2020.
